About

I am an Australian in my early 20s who suffers from Fructose Malabsorption.

As someone who grew up as a fussy eater and only knows only the basics of cooking, I don't want to have to spend hours in the kitchen to create meals that are Fructose Friendly. Follow me on my adventures to find simple, delicious and (sometimes) healthy foods that are suitable for those with IBS on a Low FODMAP diet.

I get my inspiration from home cooked meals my mum cooks, recipe books, pinterest and a range of other blogs and websites. I also like seeing a meal I think looks great and trying to think about ways to make it low FODMAP and still delicious. I do eat dairy and this may not be suitable for everyone, I will try to include Lactose Free alternatives where possible.

Please note that I am not a dietician or a doctor. If you feel that you suffer from IBS with bloating, gas and discomfort after meals I suggest that you see a doctor to get diagnosed. A simple breath test can really make all the difference. Also, seeing a dietician has been really helpful as a lot of information on the internet is not necessarily up to date.
